Box Hill Yoga
Welcome to Box Hill Yoga
Diane holds mixed ability yoga classes at the following venues in Surrey.
- Box Hill, Tadworth (near Dorking and Epsom)
- Bookham (near Fetcham and Leatherhead)
- Lower Kingswood (near Reigate and Banstead)
These classes are suitable for all levels; beginners, intermediate and advanced students. Each class consists of breath work, postures, philosophy and ends with relaxation. Alternatives are always given if something is not suitable for you.
Yoga for pregnancy classes are held in Box Hill Village Hall. These classes are suitable for ladies from week 14 to birthing and focus on opening the body in preparation for birth, breathing & relaxation. It’s a great way to become more intuitive and active during your birth.
Post Natal yoga classes are held in Box Hill Village Hall. These classes are suitable for mother and baby from 6 weeks to crawling and focus on closing the pelvic area after child birth, building strength from within, healing & relaxation. The babies also have fun & a stretch!
Diane holds a monthly advanced class for students that are ready to move on a bit further in their practice. This class will be a little more challenging than the mixed ability weekly classes and will encourage you to work on increasing strength & stamina, both physical & mental.
A monthly teacher’s class is held at Box Hill Village Hall. This is for teachers that have an established home practice. The class is lead by a different teacher each month. Sometimes we invite a guest teacher to do a workshop for us. This is a great way to continue to expand your practice, experience and understanding of yoga.
As a part of her practice of yoga, Diane occasionally holds a 3 hour Charity morning on a Saturday or Sunday morning. These are held in aid of a variety of charities. The sessions include asanas, pranayama, chanting and philosophy. The class is open to all levels of students.
